About the Job
- Support all aspects of payroll for a global workforce of approximately 1,000+ employees.
- Collaborate closely with various internal departments such as HR, Benefits, Compensation, and Accounting, while ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing in a fast-paced environment
- Administer the electronic timesheet process for employees across different FLSA classifications, ensuring accurate submission, approval, and reconciliation of hours
- Prepare and validate data for semi-monthly payroll processing, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Reconcile federal, state, and local tax withholdings and payments on a per-pay-cycle, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Provide payroll-related training and support to internal teams, resolving complex queries
- Assist with payroll-related tasks for month-end close and reconciliations
- Oversee the year-end payroll close process, including preparing for the generation and distribution of tax documents
- Generate weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc payroll reports, such as overtime, absences, and pay slips
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is required
- 6+ years of experience managing payroll in a complex, multi-state environment
- Ability to independently manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and experience in financial reporting
- Proficiency in MS Excel (including pivot tables and functions) and other office tools
- Experience working with cloud-based HR/Payroll systems and report generation tools
- Strong ability to execute queries, prepare journal entries, and reconcile payroll data to the ledger
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
