Senior PR Specialist - Fiverr

Fiverr is looking for a Senior PR Associate, to join our global team, who has experience in driving earned media and thought leadership campaigns. Reporting to the Director of PR, you will be responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive PR program that drives conversation and awareness while elevating Fiverr’s brand. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in executing successful PR campaigns, securing top tier media coverage, has great media contacts, is a good writer, reads a diverse range of news, and is excited about joining a company that is part of the future of work. 

The role is hybrid, in-office three days a week. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000-$100,000. Our salary is to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, locations and other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for commissions, bonus, equity and benefits.

• Reports directly to the Director of Public Relations
• Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the team
• Proactively offer support to other team members
• Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with key reporters, to drive awareness of the Fiverr brand
• Manage inbound media inquiries, and drive earned media coverage through creative pitches and story angles
• Create, manage and organize media lists, agendas, and pitches 
• Track coverage and regularly analyze and report on media coverage
• Research and understand issues and competitors surrounding the freelance economy and the future of work
• Support on the execution of PR campaigns
• Work with Fiverr marketing colleagues including those managing digital, social and brand marketing to develop and execute on campaigns
• Support product and tech teams within Fiverr on new product launches and announcements
• Identify and mitigate risks, working with your manager develop responses to issues that appear in the media 
• Support in the analysis of marketplace and survey data to identify trends and unique call outs that can be turned into thought-provoking stories for press.
• Write content, with input from managers, including pitches, messaging documents, Q&As, and press releases
• Additional related tasks as needed

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience (agency experience is preferred) 
• Strong media contacts particularly across technology and business beats, and across electronic, print and broadcast media 
• Strong and persuasive written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable interacting with and counseling senior managers and senior ­level staff 
• Able to work independently in a fast-­paced environment, and ability to effectively manage strong priorities 
• Team player, eager to win consistently and over time 
• Creative thinker who thinks outside the box, loves telling stories, and has a clear, strong sense of what is needed for a pitch
