Job Description
Your Role at Raising Canes:
The Senior Presentation Designer provides support for all forms of communications media solutions. These include presentation design, publications (print and e-doc), web- and app-delivered messaging, graphics, and event creative support. Daily tasks range from creating individual spot graphics to collaborative support in more involved projects. This role requires innovation in approach to graphic concepts, strong knowledge of the Raising Canes brand and Culture, and advanced experience using industry standard design tools and project management.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Concepts and designs creative solutions as assigned for various media including:
- Executive presentation materials to support medium to large-scale events
- Presentation materials to support events and initiatives of various size
- Social media styled graphics (including GIFs, working with motion graphics)
- Graphics and campaign styled materials to support Restaurant Support Office departments within Raising Canes (ex: Benefits, Recruiting, Restaurant Operations, etc.)
- Digital display board graphics used in Restaurant Support Offices
- Completes design production needs that require high-end and timely attention
- Creates high-level design concepts and translates them into appropriate media solutions
- Collaborates cross-functionally within Raising Canes to align media needs and audience focuses
- Provides consultative expertise on creative and media direction options
- Collaborates with design team and greater Communications department to assure alignment, timelines and solutions to support the needs of the business
Qualifications
Requirements for Success:
- 8+ years professional experience in developing diverse graphic design solutions
- Bachelors Degree from accredited graphic design school
- Demonstrated expertise in all forms of print layout and design
- Strong general graphic design background in areas such as color theory, typography, etc.
- Advanced experience using most current versions of core design tools (Adobe Cloud apps, etc.)
- Concept development capabilities - ability to generate ideas resulting in unique graphic design solutions
- Solid portfolio of recent work samples, displaying diversity in concept and brand alignment
- Reliable self-guidance in adhering to project and production schedules, interim milestones, and delivery deadlines
- Highly collaborative approach to opportunities, coupled with strong sense of project ownership
- Engaged awareness of Raising Canes branding guidelines and current market positioning
- Openness to direct design concepts discussion and constructive feedback
- File management comprehension to assure version control and protection of intellectual property
- Mature communication skills - verbal and written
- Ability to multi-task, deliver projects simultaneously, while responding to unforeseen needs
- Interest in consistent learning, and ongoing enhancement of skills
- Strong understanding using Adobe design apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and PowerPoint
- Microsoft Proficient: Word and Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, consumer brand organization
- Ability to deliver results under heavy pressure deadlines
- Must maintain confidential information
- Ability to work out of Dallas Restaurant Support Office located in Plano, TX
- Ability to travel for meeting and event support as required
