Given our continued growth, we have immediate role available for a highly motivated Sr Principal Hardware Engineer to join our Transition to Production, Production Support and Sustainment team as a Lead supporting the EPAWSS Product Line
In this role, you will have a chance to grow your skills supporting the continued production and sustainment of various complex Digital and Microwave modules, submodules, circuit card assemblies, and subsystems utilized across multiple projects
You will have the opportunity to work closely with cutting-edge hardware fielded on the most advanced Military Platforms
This role on EPAWSS as an Engineering Lead for Production and NRE you will need to driving Yield Improvements through Test Maturations efforts
Role involves developing HW engineering strategic plan in partnership with Operations and ITE to identify and execute projects to improve test across EPAWSS
Improvement efforts are funded by and for the benefit of both PME production and discrete non-recurring engineering scope (Re-spins, Qual, Win10, Sustainment and TAPP)
The role will involve coordination with the PEM for the Production contract, PEM for the NRE contract, and the program ITEL to determine targets and prioritization of initiatives as well as allocation of available funding
The lead will be responsible for the execution of projects, coordinating staffing, and briefing progress to program & TacAir leadership
Identification and mitigation planning of key risks and single points of failure to balance limited stand / resource availability will be a critical part of successfully executing the role
The lead will also interface with an affordability Tiger Team to ensure HW/ITE Test projects are aligned with overall program UPC objectives
