As a Senior Privacy Engineer, you will own the Privacy roadmap ensuring that robust privacy protections are seamlessly integrated across all platforms
Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing privacy solutions so customer data is appropriately safeguarded across all systems and privacy-enhancing technologies are deployed at scale
You will use your deep technical knowledge to lead a cross-functional privacy engineering team, engage with key stakeholders, and ensure our privacy strategy aligns with organizational goals.What You Will DoSpearhead the strategic development and execution of Moveworks’ Privacy RoadmapLead the creation and continuous refinement of privacy solutions, including but not limited to privacy-preserving machine learning algorithms and comprehensive data privacy controlsConduct thorough Privacy Reviews, educating and guiding stakeholders throughout the processUtilize your expertise in machine learning and software engineering to deliver privacy-focused solutionsCollaborate closely with teams across machine learning, product development, infrastructure, and data science to design and implement privacy-centric initiativesImplement robust Privacy Enhancing TechnologiesEnsure compliance with privacy regulationsPerform risk assessments and exceptionsDefine and measure key privacy metricsCreate and maintain privacy-related materials for both internal and external audiencesWhat You Bring To The Table5+ years of experience in Privacy Engineering4+ years of work experience in Python, Golang, Java, and/or C++Demonstrated expertise in core privacy technologies and methodologies, including anonymization techniques and data protection strategies.Proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining privacy solutionsExperience building long-lasting relationships with teams Ability to identify privacy risks, develop mitigation plans, and implementing solutionsFamiliarity with global privacy regulations (e.g.,CCPA, GDPR).Experience with cloud infrastructure like AWS, GCP, and/or AzureA high level of curiosity about engineering outside of your immediate discipline and an incessant desire to learnBS+ in computer science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experienceHands-on experience driving one or more stages of a machine learning problem-solving lifecycle, such as experiment setup, dataset curation, model training, offline evaluation and error analysis, deployment, and online evaluationExperience in AI fairness, privacy, permission controls, safety, and/or securityCompensation Range: $212,000 - $255,000*Our compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions or bonus plans.
