Senior Process Engineer (ethanol) - 1st St. NW Technical Staffing

Award-winning (and growing!) engineering firm has an opening for a Sr. Process Engineer with ethanol facilities experience. Direct hire position with outstanding benefits – includes hybrid work schedule, profit sharing, 401K, generous PTO, health/dental, and more!

Duties:

• Oversee the design and construction of ethanol facilities and processes
• Prepare technical reports, procurement specifications, and design sketches
• Communicate with clients, equipment vendors, controls systems installers, etc. regarding process equipment design, installation, and operation
• Review equipment technical proposals and provide bid comparisons/recommendations
• Research, understand and convey client needs to meet client’s expectations for process optimization and upgrades
• Facilitate internal and external coordination meetings
• Manage project budgets and schedules
• Demonstrate leadership with excellent engineering analysis and judgment providing appropriate results and responsiveness to clients.
• Perform site visits on occasion
• Help with business development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
• 10+ years of applicable experience
• 4+ years of ethanol processing equipment/facilities experience
• Consulting engineering experience highly preferred
• PE registration preferred
