Join us in delivering sustainable wastewater management, integrating your innovative ideas into projects that make an impact. **Job Description** The Water Business Line of **AECOM** is actively seeking a highly talented **Senior** **Wastewater Process Engineer** for our Orlando office, or this person can be based in any of our Florida offices. The ideal candidate will have experience with the design of municipal wastewater treatment plant, conveyance and pumping system projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Serves as lead engineer on municipal wastewater infrastructure projects including advanced wastewater treatment and reuse. + Leading the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and other project documents. + Collaborate with firm’s water reuse and wastewater technical and practice leads to bring AECOM’s national and global expertise to serve FL area clients. + Identifies new business opportunities for AECOM, coordinates and participates in project presentations to clients and other external groups, and promotes AECOM’s capabilities, marketing its services among existing and prospective clients. + Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors and drafts complex professional service agreements and addenda for review by senior management. + May supervise technical professionals, associate project managers, and design staff including workload and staffing management. + Assisting with marketing needs within the region. + Participating in professional societies relevant to the industry. **Qualifications** **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:** + BA/BS in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering + 8 years of related experience, with progressive experience as a process design engineer in municipal wastewater infrastructure design + Professional Engineering (PE) license in Florida or ability to obtain reciprocity within six (6) months of hire. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** + Experience working on municipal projects. + Experience with Sumo/Biowin wastewater process modeling. + Experience and familiarity with the following programs: ArcGIS, AutoCAD, REVIT, MicroStation, SWMM, and/or Storm/Sewer/WaterCAD. + Experience working with local clients in Florida. + Candidates must have proven interpersonal skills, including client interaction, public speaking, and persuasive ability; strong project financial management along with ability to lead diverse, multi-disciplined teams. **Additional Information** + Relocation is not available for this role. + Sponsorship is available for this role. \#LI-SG1 Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
