About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic individual to join our dynamic organization as the Manager of Tech Professional Services (PS) Procurement. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal
role in executing our PS procurement strategy, fostering stakeholder alignment, optimizing costs, and ensuring that our technology investments align with our business objectives. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the PS landscape, a proven track record in negotiating complex contracts, and the ability to drive efficiency and innovation in our PS procurement processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Spearhead initiatives to optimize PS-related expenses, redirecting resources towards high-impact projects and strategic initiatives.
- Implement cost-effective procurement practices that contribute to bottom-line savings while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Analyze and optimize PS license agreements to reduce overall costs and maximize value.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive PS procurement strategy aligned with the organization's business goals.
- Identify and evaluate emerging PS technologies to enhance organizational capabilities and competitiveness.
- Improve cross-functional collaboration by facilitating communication between IT, legal, finance, and business units.
- Implement transparent processes that enhance visibility into PS procurement decisions and their impact on various departments.
- Continuously evaluate and improve PS procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service level expectations.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with PS procurement, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Potentially lead a team and provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, IT, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience PS procurement role, demonstrating a successful track record in strategic planning and execution.
- Negotiation skills and experience in managing complex PS contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of the PS industry, licensing models, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
