Job Summary and Qualifications
JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Product Analyst is a SME on HCA’s Enterprise Application Portfolio Management (APM) Process and associated products. This position will work closely with the APM Process Owner and other team members from the APM Navigator Team, Third Party Data Transmissions Teams, Application Rationalization Team, other APM team members, and our customers. They will be working with these teams and other teams within Information Protection Security (IPS), the Service Management Organization (SMO) and other HCA teams. This role requires strong communication skills and a high level of situational confidence. The role must display executive presence, confidence, and critical thinking for APM transformation. The role develops a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders including business leadership, ITG leaders, and other department professionals.
Duties Include:
• Creation of business requirements, documents, business workflows, data flow diagrams and other workflows as required
• Participation in scrum meetings with appropriate developers and organizations
• Lead meetings with colleagues, the business and our customers to solicit requirements
• Documentation and management of priorities within appropriate work management tools
• Work closely with the APM Process Owner and leadership for alignment of priorities, tasking, and deliverables
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• End-to-end knowledge and management as assigned of the Service Central workflows related to APM to include the APM Intake workflow and associated catalog items, process mappings, and associated processes such as CMDB (Design, Implement, and Execute)
• Assist in the maintenance in the logical model for APM within Service Central
• Ensures all APM Service Central field formatting and usage is consistent
• Ensures the integrity of all APM integrations with Service Now and other systems
• Defines requirements and standards, mapping of data fields, testing and producing solution designs/diagrams
• Investigates issues and proposes solutions for anything related to APM
• Creates and maintains APM documentation
• Creates and maintains end-user APM training as required
• Works closely with Asset Management Process Analyst, internal ServiceNow Architects, Developers and Data/Analytics teams
• Consults with Departments and Divisions on specific needs to offer proposed solutions, and implements appropriately
• Provides expertise in process design, including elicitation and prioritization of business requirements
• Identifies and monitors process KPI’s and reports to leadership in agreed-upon cadence, as required
• Identifies Process Improvement Opportunities and develops plan(s) to implement; continuously strives to increase process maturity, efficiencies, and effectiveness.
• Follows all ITIL processes in relation to personal/team ticket management
• Investigates problems and risks to define propose solutions and/or mitigations
• Understands all Administrative functionalities of the ITSM tool and understands their impact on process workflows
• Reviews and presents enhancement or change proposals to the Governance committee
• Assists in prioritization of work requests for the ITSM Development team
• Completes all assigned deliverables and contributes to success of projects and annual ITSM tool upgrades
• Communicates with end users and other stakeholders through multiple channels
• Implements and Facilitates User Review Groups, as required
• Builds and enhances relationships across ITG and other stakeholders within the enterprise
• Creates an environment that encourages information sharing, team-based resolutions, cross-training, and focus on quick and effective problem resolution.
• Investigates and troubleshoots application issues, performs root cause analysis and works with the team to recommend and implement solutions.
• Independently handles end-user requests and incidents, follows up to determine the resolution and communicates efficiently.
• Serves as process expert and SMO liaison on audit-related inquiries.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
5+ years of relevant work experience required
OTHER/SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
• IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) understanding
• Demonstrated knowledge of use case analysis and workflow design
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, including the ability to collaborate with personnel at all levels of the enterprise in a cooperative and effective manner, in a variety of media and formats
• Excellent ability to write for different platforms and audiences
• Great listener, interviewer, researcher
• Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills to consistently achieve “win-win” results

• Aptitude for learning and customer focus

• Working knowledge of vendor management principles and procedures.
• Excellent understanding and ability at explaining IT processes and ability to solicit requirements
