Since 2015, we’ve completed many of the world’s first digital commerce transactions, including the first online real estate closing, online mortgage closing, online auto sale, and online will and were still just getting started!
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll work in lockstep with our product management and engineering teams. You’ll leverage your visual and interactive design skills to solve user problems and address business needs. Day-to-day, you’ll work through ideation, prototyping, testing, design frameworks, and concept visualization.
You will be the design lead on our Business team, crafting experiences for our customers across a variety of industries, from real estate to financial services to automotive. You’ll balance design projects that benefit self-serve customers and promote their activation in our products, as well as large, established customers with complex workflows and use cases. You’ll be a member of our centralized UX team and report to a Lead Product Designer.
What you’ll do as the Senior Product Designer at Proof:

- Address users’ pain points while balancing business goals. Participate in customer calls and interviews, and collaborate with our Principal UX Researcher for strategic research. Use insights from qualitative and quantitative user data to inform your decisions and measure success
- Present designs effectively and with the right level of fidelity to a variety of audiences. Refine your thinking as you design by sharing work early and often
- Embody a product-led growth mindset to drive user activation, retention, and engagement. Work with teammates that focus on experimentation, and incremental releases. Utilize FullStory to gauge how users are interacting with the features you’ve designed or the product’s existing features. Utilize Pendo to layer on guidance or messages directly to user groups in the product. Collaborate with other UX team members by providing feedback in weekly design critiques, partnering on cross-team projects, and mentoring more junior designers.
Were looking for someone who:
- Has 4+ years of experience as a product designer for responsive web apps, solving complex problems with thoughtful solutions. Specifically, you have experience designing in a B2B or B2B2C space, working to drive growth, activation, and retention. You’ve designed UIs that include complex formflows, tables, and more for small businesses or enterprises.
- Is highly skilled in UX design and UI design. At Proof, our product designers are responsible for full-stack designing, from initial discovery to concept ideation to final UI designs. You can express your thinking at varying levels of fidelity – from hand sketches to rough prototypes to high fidelity mockups.
- Has a good understanding of UX research best practices, including running usability tests and leading customer interviews. You’ll be able to collaborate with our Principal UX Researcher to be strategic in your research and level up your skill set.
- Is comfortable pivoting quickly if business needs change or if new information is presented. You can balance different user needs and business priorities, and you can pull together concepts and iterate on designs based on feedback or changing scope.
- Designs with results in mind and without an ego. You are comfortable taking feedback from other designers, PMs, and engineers. You don’t get too attached to a specific design direction, and are eager to measure the success of a project based on its performance.
- Can speak to the problems you’ve solved and how your design solutions lead to an impact on the business metrics or user behaviors you were trying to drive. You are able to show how you’ve evolved your solutions in response to qualitative end user feedback and/or quantitative metrics.

Understand the importance of accessibility in your designs. It’s part of your design process to make sure that your designs are accessible
- Is eager to learn and will tackle whatever project comes your way, especially those that give you a chance to stretch and improve your skills
