About the Job
Our Digital Product Design team at The Infatuation is looking for a Senior Product Designer to play a crucial role in our team, contributing to the design and development of user-centered digital products and experiences across content discovery initiatives.
As a Senior Product Designer in The Infatuation you'll partner with Editorial, Brand, Growth and Marketing teams, and collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data teammates to deliver intuitive and visually stunning solutions. Your primary focus will be crafting exceptional user interfaces and experiences that captivate our audience and elevate our mission to bring "expert restaurant recommendations for every situation" to life through our product experiences. Job Responsibilities
+ Take ownership and work independently on several projects at a time, across multiple areas of the product experience, from concept to completion.
+ Design polished work that represents The Infatuation brand and product experience through hi-fidelity design mockups and prototypes, and presentations.
+ Maintain a high standard for visual design quality while also striving to ship quickly and rapidly iterate to refine design concepts, keeping transparency and collaboration central to your design process.
+ Communicate design decisions in compelling and creative ways; and create alignment with cross-functional partners and stakeholders through your live presentations.
+ Test, learn, and iterate on everything you do alongside your product, engineering and data peers.
+ Champion and maintain a design system that will serve to improve scalability and quality across design and in partnership with engineering.
+ Report to the Head of Design for The Infatuation.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
+ You have 3+ years of product design experience, specifically within mobile design and design systems.
+ You think mobile-first and are strategic about mobile user experience decision making.
+ You have the ability to work independently to explore concepts from beginning to end, yet also seek feedback loops with your ideas and use prototypes to articulate those ideas.
+ With deep organization and execution skills, especially in collaboration with multiple stakeholders, you articulate high-level team goals and connect your work to larger team or company initiatives.
+ With your outstanding attention to detail with a proven track record of working within and contributing to a design system, you will help us expand, refine, and maintain ours.
+ Expert in Figma, including high-fidelity prototyping and design system - you should know Figma inside-out.
+ You have a healthy sense of humor, a no ego approach to design, and a collaborative approach to working on teams.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
+ Experience shipping consumer facing products at scale, ideally within digital media space.
+ You have worked within a design system with an emphasis for typography and hierarchy.
