Role: Product Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team and lead the creation of groundbreaking, AI-powered mobile experiences that redefine how sports fans engage with content. Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the success of AI-powered features for Venu’s mobile apps.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, program management, and partner teams to define, design, develop, and iterate new features in an Agile environment.
• Lead your team to own the success of the product, inspiring a high standard of quality and supporting the team to meet it.
• Use data and customer insights to find product-market fit for innovative features and delight customers in meaningful ways for the business.
• Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for AI features to ensure successful user adoption.
• Apply research and knowledge of industry trends and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities to differentiate the Venu app in intuitive and delightful ways.

Requirements:

• Work closely with engineers and designers for iOS & Android.
• Focus on bringing AI features into apps, with a strong emphasis on front-end development.
• Lean on engineers for the technical side.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency, collaboration, and the ability to work well with the team.
• Thrive in a chaotic environment, with the ability to hustle and be okay with ambiguity.
• Trainable, but not necessarily needing to be very senior.
• Preferably have a background as a product designer or user-focused role.
• Experience launching new products or working at a startup is a huge benefit.
• Mobile app experience is great, but experience with web/TV/etc. is also valuable.
• Experience with messaging platforms like WhatsApp, Apple iMessage, or other communications platforms is a plus.
• 0-1 experience from concept to shipping is essential.
• Bias for action, with the ability to push things forward without guidance from leadership.
• Experience in fast-moving environments, potentially having gone through many development cycles.
• Experience in more than one company is nice but not a dealbreaker.
• Personalization experience is not necessarily relevant.
• Most of the AI work involves generative AI and computer vision, particularly for sports video.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with 2+ years of experience building for mobile apps.
• Demonstrated success in taking AI-driven features from concept to launch.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and data science, to deliver AI products at scale.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, including large language models, generative AI, and computer vision.
• Data-driven with experience defining metrics and delivering results.
• Customer-focused with an eye for great user experiences.
• Ability to communicate complex AI and machine learning concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a technology or business field or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with AI technologies in production-grade products, especially with large language models, generative AI, and computer vision.
• Experience working in both startups and large companies.
• Exhibit high agency within empowered teams.
• Passion for sports.
