Fleet management of instrumentation at scale is becoming a central component to making observability ubiquitous for our customers.As the Senior Product Manager for Fleet Management, you'll join a growing team who is passionate about delighting customers and engaging the open source community
You will drive the vision, product strategy, and execution for our instrumentation management business, making it the most flexible, simple to use, and cost-effective platform in the industry.What you'll doOwn the vision and product strategy for our scalable instrumentation and fleet management platformDemonstrate thought leadership on open source community engagement strategies for SaaS-based technologyDrive execution by collaborating closely with engineering, product design, and other cross-functional partnersUse data-driven insights to make informed decisions, prioritize investment areas, and continuously improve the productDevelop and maintain product roadmaps that align with the overall business strategy, incorporating input from customers and community partnersCollaborate with partners and leadership to evaluate market needs and incorporate insights into product planningDrive customer adoption by developing compelling value propositions, conducting market research, and closing the customer feedback loopDefine success metrics and monitor key performance indicators to measure product performance, customer delight, and community engagementCultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, customers, partners, and community contributors, to drive alignment and foster collaborationDesign and implement go-to-market plans in collaboration with marketing, sales, and finance partnersStay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies related to observability to maintain the company's position as a market leaderThis role requires5+ years of product management experience in the Developer / DevOps / Software industryStrong technical background and understanding of software development methodologies and toolsStrong leadership and management skills including leading and inspiring impactful teamsProven track record of successfully articulating product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for modern software productsAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketingExperience engaging with customers and collecting feedback to inform product decisionsAnalytical approach with a focus on incorporating data and metrics to drive decision-makingHighly effective written and verbal communication with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiencesAbility to excel in a lean, agile, and fast-paced organizationBachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or equivalent fieldBonus points if you haveBackground in observability, monitoring, devops, site reliability engineering, SaaS products, and related technologiesExperience building relationships with open source communitiesExperience leading teams through impact rather than authorityFostering a diverse, welcoming and inclusive environment is important to us
