iTradeNetwork is a global provider of supply chain management solutions for the food and food service industry. We bring simplicity and agility to complex supply chains with our cloud-based software. We are looking for a talented Senior Product Manager who will define and drive the product strategy for our flagship product. The successful candidate will be a thought leader capable of understanding a complex global supply chain category. The Senior Product Manager will characterize market, customer, and end-users requirements. And, translate those requirements into a compelling product vision and supporting product roadmap. The Senior Product Manager will be a product evangelist and must be capable of collaborating with strategic customers, internal stakeholders, and industry analysts.
Responsibilities:
- Mastery of core product management skills (e.g., business case definition, roadmap development, requirements definition, and feature prioritization)
- Credibility collaborating with Development, Quality Assurance, Sales, Marketing, and Executive teams
- Sufficient technical background to understand the technology stack and the level of effort required to evolve the products feature set
- Commitment to being the voice of the customer inside iTradeNetwork and passionate about the user experience
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data web analytics, research reports, market trends, and other sources
- Healthy dose of creativity to define a unique and compelling product vision
- Passionate about the intersection of business, technology, and user experience
Skills/Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in product management with a concentration in enterprise business applications
- 5+ years of experience in a product management or other product delivery role with a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) vendor
- Supply Chain Management and/or food & beverage industry experience is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to segment markets, target customers, and position products
- Basic knowledge of pricing principles (e.g., the role of cost, customer price sensitivity, and competition)
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining a business plan for your product(s)
- Prior experience with Agile development methodology and Pragmatic Marketing
- Strong analytical skills and proven data-driven decision-making attitude, including demonstrated ability to evaluate and select appropriate methods of data gathering and research techniques (e.g., customer interviews, focus groups, surveys, and secondary research)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex software solutions to internal and external stakeholders
- Confidence, maturity, and finesse to build organizational consensus and to lead through influence
- Entrepreneurial, results oriented individual
- Knowledge of modern web design and development technologies is preferred. Experience with big data and datasets is beneficial
Education:
- BS in computer science or other technical field (MBA or other Master Degree preferred)
- Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel as required
- Knowledge of foodservice or hospitality industry a plus.
