THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Senior Product Management, you will be responsible for analyzing the marketplace, customers, and competitors to determine the right functionality to bring to market while balancing priorities for customer needs and competitive strategy. The ideal candidate can turn customer feedback into impactful features that deliver maximum value.

THE TEAM
Xactly Product Management is a lively, tight-knit team consisting of product managers, marketers, strategists, designers and digital transformation experts responsible for strategy, execution, go-to-market success and customer value realization of Xactly's product platform. We are the innovative forward thinkers of the product, always collaborating and striving to discover the best solutions for our users.
THE SKILLSET
- BS/BA or equivalent experience required. MBA or technical graduate degree preferred
- Must have experience working directly with clients
- 7 years product management experience in the SaaS industry
- Previous experience in one of the following areas
- Sales Forecasting
- Revenue Forecasting
- Sales Planning
- Quota/Territory Planning
- Corporate Planning
- Experience with products focused on reporting and analytics
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and data (SalesForce experience a plus)
- Experience in leading and managing globally distributed teams of product managers
- Self-starter, broad thinker, strategic planner, proven project manager, strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by ongoing communication with customers and prospects
- Developing product requirements and evaluate product-market fit
- Working with the product development teams to ensure successful product development
- Working with Product Owners to scope product delivery and understand development alternatives, as well as support, build/buy economics when applicable
- Helping drive client and user adoption of products
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU'LL
- Get your bearings and begin to build a strong foundation, upon which to grow
- Build relationships with internal business partners including product marketing, engineering, user experience, sales, pre-sales, customer success, professional services and alliances
- Get to know your team and understand how you can support them
- Gain a strong understanding of Sales Performance Management space and the business challenges Xactly solves with its Intelligent Revenue Platform
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU'LL
- Have a strong understanding of the business, and begin teaching us a thing or two we don't know
- Have your first few customer meetings to understand the value Xactly delivers to them and how we can be of even greater value to them in the future
- Make your first presentation to Xactly's senior leadership team about our most recent releases and what we have coming up on the roadmap
- Present at our monthly Product Management Broadcast, as well as our monthly Products all hands meetings to share the details of our latest releases with the rest of the Xactly team
- Have a hand in shaping the product roadmap to ensure high value deliverables
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU'LL
- Begin to implement the vision for change/impact that you have been developing over the past 6-months
- Participate in various cross-functional meetings, roadmap planning sessions and development ceremonies
- Prepare board meeting presentation materials on the current state of the roadmap and our future strategic vision
- Participate in networking and engagement activities with other like-minded professionals across the Vista Equity portfolio of companies
- Develop a vision for our rolling four quarter roadmap and what areas are going to be the most important for our future success
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU'LL
- Be seen as a well-versed, trusted business-advisor and expert, making a significant positive impact company-wide
- Be seen as the expert in your product area and the "go-to" person for questions about product functionality, roadmap deliverables and overall strategy
- Be highly knowledgeable about the market landscape, competitors and opportunities to drive innovation in our industry
- Identify further personal education opportunities to increase your business and instructional acumen
- Be ready to take on an expanding scope of influence to help drive Xactly's business to its next level of growth

The compensation range is specific to the United States and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. A reasonable estimate of the range is $125,000 - $160,000 plus the applicable bonus.
Applications will be accepted only for those currently residing in the posted country for this role. There is no expectation of approval for an international relocation for this job .
