Niantic is looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead Trust & Safety and Player Experience Operations
You will develop and maintain critical systems for games, products, and experiences, as well as, create tools for operational teams to ensure player safety and positive experiences.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with a diverse group of collaborators from various departments (e.g., Operations, Engineering, Legal, and Game teams) to gather requirements, understand difficulties, and prioritize feature development.Own the product roadmap and ensure alignment with broader organizational goals and operational efficiency improvements.Own and drive the product strategy for content safety systems, including content moderation of user-generated content (UGC), review tooling, and investigation toolingLead the development of player experience tooling, including customer support system SDK and automated pipelines for support processingCoordinate the creation and improvement of compliance systems, particularly focusing on data privacy (e.g., GDPR, DSA or equivalent experience) and related admin tools.Analyze user data and feedback to continuously improve our tools and systemsPrioritize features and develop product roadmaps based on business goals and user needsManage the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization to launch and post-launch optimizationCollaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.Required in-office 2 days a week.QualificationsSeeking candidates with 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in gaming, trust & safety, or internal systems and tools.Strong understanding of content moderation practices, customer support operations, and data privacy regulationsExperience with API development, SDK implementation, and admin tool creationExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with various collaborators across the organizationProven track record of successful cross-functional (XFN) collaborationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice.Experience working on cross-functional teams with ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including asynchronous interactions with others.Plus if...You have an extensive understanding of Trust & Safety domain and standard methodologiesYou have experience with agile development methodologiesYou have knowledge of gaming industry trends and challenges related to Trust & SafetyYou have an understanding of UX/UI design principles for internal toolsYou are passionate about real-world gameplay and interested in AR mapping experiencesJoin our team and play a crucial role in crafting the safety and experience of millions of players worldwide!The total compensation package for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $183,600.00 - $204,000.00 + bonus + equity + benefits.Individual pay within this salary range is determined by work location and additional factors, including assessed job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
