About the role
In the ever-changing world of cyber security insurance, accurate and efficient information management is a critical pillar to long term success and scale. At Coalition, were on a mission to invest deeply in our platform, and thats where you come in. As our Senior Product Manager, Platform, youll be responsible for architecting our systems and data to enhance our platform in order to foster speed, cross-team reliability, and a positive user experience, driving business growth and setting us apart from our competition.
This is more than just internal platform design; its about empowering our teams with intuitive internal tools in order to streamline our internal user experience and offer ease of management to bring confidence and system compliance.
Youll work hand-in-hand with data scientists and engineers, leveraging your data expertise to design a future-proof architecture that will enable future automation. Your user-centric mindset will be instrumental in crafting an intuitive internal tools experience that is first class.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of a new account management infrastructure, ensuring accurate and efficient organization of accounts, brokers, and organizations.
- Lead various platform initiatives geared towards improving our overall compliance and and business integrity
- Work closely with data science and engineering teams to understand the data architecture and develop a data-driven approach to solving complex problems and opportunities.
- Own the product roadmap for the platform, prioritizing features and functionalities that address key business challenges and user needs.
- Design and develop user-friendly internal tools for account matching, transfer, merging, and management.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (sales, underwriting, operations) to understand user needs and ensure the platform delivers a seamless and efficient experience.
- Drive user adoption and training for the new platform, ensuring all teams can leverage its functionalities effectively.
- Continuously monitor and analyze platform performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Skills and Qualifications
- A passion for technology and 5+ years of experience building software products for internal customers
- Proven track record of successfully designing and launching complex software applications.
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (technical and non-technical).
- User-centric mindset with a passion for creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Comfortable with change; rapid company growth demands and rewards flexibility
- Willingness to step in to fill gaps and push for team success
- Lead independently, through influence and acumen
- Willingness to sweep the floors and drive triaging
Bonus Points
- Experience with cyber security insurance or related industries.
- Experience working with data visualization tools, SQL, Looker, etc.
- Understanding of API integration and development.
- Experience with AI and LLM models
Compensation
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The US base salary for this position ranges from $136,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $203,000/year in our highest geographic market. Consistent with applicable laws, an employees pay within this range is based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Your recruiter can share more on target salary for your location during the interview process. Coalition, Inc. reserves the right to modify this range as needed.
