Delta is on a journey to become a world-class retailer, changing the way Delta can sell and service flight and ancillary products and improve the overall customer experience. To achieve this goal, Delta’s Retail Strategy is to focus on dynamically manufacturing products, offering the most relevant product to customers in their channel of choice, and servicing those products when plans change.
To enable this effort, the Enterprise Solutions (ES) team is seeking a Retail Order Sr. Product Manager to define a robust and more flexible order data model to replace existing legacy systems which limit how we can service and deliver a more enhanced product offering. In addition, the Product Manager will play a key role in the integration of a new order management system into commercial and operational platforms to serve as a single source of truth for all products sold and attributes of this product needed to appropriately service and fulfill. This role will lead the vision and execution of IT development roadmaps that support our overall Retail Strategy.

Responsibilities :
- Act as product manager for agile development teams
- Define a vision and roadmap for creating a new retailing order management product for Delta
- Build an executable product roadmap that balances business value, timing needs, and development complexity
- Partner with stakeholders across the enterprise to drive input on requirements and communicating progress against development roadmap
- Drive delivery on short-term initiatives while building future-state enterprise capabilities
- Manage transition to order management system without interrupting existing critical business functions
- Ensure IT development that properly leverages backend mechanisms and achieves desired business goal.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- Minimum five years of airline, retail technology or equivalent experience required
- Strong business knowledge and technical skills with an in-depth understanding of product management
- Experience translating a business vision into written technical requirements.
- Capable of managing multiple projects with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Focused on results and can prioritize competing interests with seemingly disparate goals
- Uses data to quantify problems, identify trade-offs and develop solutions
- Communicates in a timely, accurate and effective manner

- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
- BA/BS or advanced degree in a process or project management discipline such as Business Administration or Industrial Engineering
- Experience in building or leading data design in a Retail capacity
- Relevant working experience in Retail Order Management, Booking, Ticketing, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
- PNR, Order, Booking and/or Ticketing knowledge
- Experience in at least one commercial or operations function such as Reservations, Airport Customer Service, eCommerce, Revenue Management or Sales
- Knowledge of revenue management theory or airline systems/data
- Experience working in an Agile environment as a Product Manager/Owner.
