Join our Product Marketing team and work closely with our valued partners to develop compelling messaging and copy to resonate with a range of audience segments. We are seeking a Product Marketing Copywriter to help craft the voice for Acrobat and our productivity apps, developing messaging and copy that resonates with a range of audience segments. You’ll partner with Inbound PMM, Outbound PMM, GTM, Brand Marketing, Marketing Program Management, Studio, PR, Social, Community, adobe.com, and agencies to drive the success of Adobe Acrobat through compelling copywriting.
In this marketing role, the candidate should be a skilled writer with a deep understanding of the audience and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Build clear, compelling copy across all Document Cloud Products (Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Scan, etc.) that resonates with a variety of customer segments to influence them to try, buy, or use. This person will need to translate complex product features into clear, benefits-focused messaging that speaks to customer difficulties and solutions.
- Content Strategy: Support Category Marketing Content Strategist in developing and implementing content strategies for marketing moments.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams and participate in brainstorming sessions, give creative ideas, and review content to ensure it’s on strategy. Present copy with partners with the ability to address feedback or provide recommendations. Develop and implement efficient ways to lead copy for distribution and team use.
- Editing and Proofreading: Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy. Maintain brand consistency and accuracy in all content, while upholding a high standard of quality.
- Research: Stay on top of industry trends, target audiences, and competitors to ensure content is relevant, compelling, and differentiated. Review existing research on various market segments and suggest ways to relevantly speak to each audience’s needs. Stay informed about the latest developments in document solutions and artificial intelligence and proactively provide teams with overviews of exciting and relevant content.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 7+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in product marketing and/or tech.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, engaging language.
- Continually look for innovative ways to write copy that improves, resonates with our audience, and drives desired actions.
- Excels in a collaborative environment working with multiple teams.
- Resourceful and adept at overcoming obstacles.
- Demonstrates strong research skills and technical proficiency.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $146,300 -- $246,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary, and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
