The Role: The Senior Production Engineer will lead the wells production optimization activities. Play a key role in performing performance review of producing wells and help optimize production rates.
Responsibilities
- Support the safe planning and implementation of all activities pertaining to Production operations. Provide leadership and regularly participate in developing Production operations related HSSE documents, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Specific Task Instructions (STIs), Management of Change (MOCs), etc. to ensure that all activities at producing and other multi-operational pads are in accordance with the HSSE policies.
- Monitor and review production status and performance of producing wells using different tools and applications available such as SCADA, Wellview, Merrick System, ARIES, Enablon, Infor, etc.
- Recommend and actively participate in different activities and programs including workover, artificial lift, and condensate management to help maintain and enhance production rates from wells.
Required Education, Experience, Licensure
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Seven (7) years of experience across Oil & Gas Production, Processing and/or Engineering.
- Foundational experience with supermajor or large independent Oil & Gas Company.
- Successfully operated in at least one major or challenging field of unconventional wells.
Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure
- Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- 6-10 years of Engineering experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, with at least 4 years in horizontal unconventional basin.
- 5 years of experience working closely with multiple technical disciplines.
- Practical Experience or training in risk analysis.
