About the Job
VTG is staffing a Senior Program Analyst for professional support services contract related to the planning, design, construction, delivery, and testing of ships overseen by the Guided Missile Frigate (FFG) Program Office (PMS 515). VTG is tasked with providing these services to PMS 515 at the Washington Navy Yard (WNY) in Washington, D.C., under the Program Executive Office (PEO) Unmanned and Small Combatants (USC), is responsible for designing, procuring, and constructing the Navy's next class of multi-mission Small Surface Combatants. This includes the Constellation Class, named after FFG-62 USS Constellation, which will deliver capabilities to support various fleet operations.
Responsibilities:- Provide guidance and oversight to collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the Government.
Define the nature and extent of problems. - Analyze relevant data, which may include annual revenues, employment, or expenditures.
- Interview managers and employees while observing their operations.
- Develop solutions to problems.
- In the course of preparing recommendations, understand the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture.
- Prepare and solve mathematical models.
Report findings and recommendations to the Government. - Reports are usually submitted in writing, but oral presentations regarding findings also are common.
- For some projects, management analysts are retained to help implement the suggestions they have made.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAU Level III Program Management
- 10 years relevant professional experience
- DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process)
- Secret Clearance

Pay Range: VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $119,664-$163,681 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range
