We are looking for a seasoned, results-driven, energetic, hands-on Senior Program Manager to help articulate the market opportunity and value proposition and drive our investments in Wireless Connectivity with internal and external stakeholders.
Our team drives critical stacks in Windows for wireless like Wi-Fi, 5G, Location services and cross device experiences. We work closely with top silicon partners, OEMs, end customers, software partners and standards bodies, to follow and influence the latest technological advancements. In this role, you will influence product roadmap for wireless connectivity and work closely with end-to-end engineering to bring those features to market on latest hardware.

**Responsibilities**
+ Defines the program(s) goals and prioritization for the multiple feature areas (e.g., product, service) they own. Translates the needs of the organization and other teams into program goals and prioritized deliverables based on data-focused analysis.
+ Understand the business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
+ Drive the business results through a focus on objectives and key results, providing clarity to the engineering team and ensuring delivery of high-quality results
+ Drive E2E programs in partnership with internal and external partners.
+ Maintain solid working relationships with stakeholders across engineering, partner and ecosystem teams including external and internal partners.
+ Owns the roadmap for the multiple feature areas (e.g., product, service) they own. Prioritizes the backlog, works with Engineering to align on tradeoffs.
+ Engages in active risk management (proactive and reactive) to identify risks and propose mitigations for risks using data (e.g., telemetry, usage, net satisfaction, customer satisfaction).
**Qualifications**
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
+ **Other Requirements:**
+ Cloud Background check: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
+ Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
**Additional or Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Prior engineering experience with low-level embedded software/firmware/driver development.
+ Passion for delivering customer-obsessed user experiences
+ Solid Written and verbal communication skills
+ Leverage data and analytical skills to narrow down opportunities or find solutions.
Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
