Job Overview
Position Schedule: Full-Time
The Field Experience Activation team is looking for a motivated, innovative Senior Project Leader to directly impact the experiences of the firm's Regional Technology Advocate (RTA) program. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing the RTA program in support of over 700 branch associates. This will involve working with firm stakeholders to drive the awareness, advocacy, and adoption of technology-supported experiences. Core responsibilities include:
Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a field of Technology, Marketing, Management, Communications, Human Resources, or equivalent discipline; MBA or related graduate degree preferred.
- 6+ years of progressive experience Project or Program Management
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, building relationships at all levels of the organization, and effectively tailoring messaging and approach to multiple audiences.
- Ability to quickly engage and inspire a diverse, multi-disciplinary team and lead/contribute to multiple large-scale efforts concurrently.
- Change agility and comfort operating and flexing in ambiguity.
Problem Solving:
- Expected to analyze and resolve complex problems and provide recommendations with little to not assistance. Possess sufficient knowledge of the firm's business, systems, and infrastructure to anticipate and mitigate program risks. Must know when to escalate to leadership. Expected to assist other team members, as well as program stakeholders as needed.
Decision Making:
- The Program Strategist needs to be able to present issues clearly, focus on desired results to recommend a solution and clearly communicate options to leaders.
- Many routine daily decisions will be made independent of review such as those related to project management methodologies, plans, technologies, and tools throughout the project(s) lifecycle. However, other decisions, such as resource commitments, may be subject to review by the leader or with guidance from the Team, Project, or Department Leader, based on recommendations from this role.
- This role requires regularly employing industry, firm and regulatory knowledge in decision making and communications.
- Explores multiple alternatives and arrives at appropriate decisions, which align with department / division goals and/or firm values. These decisions are typically subject to review.
Span of Influence:
- Must be able to influence and collaborate with inter-organizational stakeholder network, in order to deliver meaningful results.
- Affects and interacts with all levels of the firm.
- Directly impacts the success of timely delivering medium to large, complex communications and strategies to branch and home office associates.
