Your Role
As a Senior Project Coordinator at Encore Conversion Group, you will be responsible for managing key projects and supporting our manufacturing management team to ensure smooth, efficient operations. This role requires critical thinking, independent judgment, and discretion to carry out tasks that significantly impact the company’s operations. You will oversee complex project workflows, coordinate across departments, and manage communication with internal and external stakeholders. In addition, you will help develop and implement strategic processes that align with our company’s goals and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead and coordinate high-impact manufacturing projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met. Manage timelines, resources, and reporting for multiple projects.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, develop solutions, and oversee the implementation of these changes across departments. Proactively assess bottlenecks and streamline workflows to improve efficiency.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to safety and compliance protocols, conducting regular audits and maintaining records. Provide guidance on compliance matters to the team and ensure training programs are up to date.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between production, marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution. Facilitate communication and document key decisions.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and manage purchase orders to ensure cost-effective solutions. Analyze financial data to provide insights on budget performance.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to contribute to long-term strategic plans, advising on project feasibility, timelines, and resource allocation.
- PMO Responsibilities: Oversee the Project Management Office (PMO) by managing a centralized database for project tracking, meeting documentation, and resource allocation. Ensure projects align with the broader business objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing, production, or operations environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and workflows with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of compliance and safety regulations in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Proven ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment on significant matters.
Nice to Have
- Experience with project management software and methodologies such as PMP or Six Sigma.
- Familiarity with financial administration, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
