ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Project Manager to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The ideal candidate will be a Senior Project Manager with an engineering background with a proven record of project engineering support across the systems engineering lifecycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing a team supporting multiple engineering and technical disciplines aligned with numerous ongoing global projects. Additionally, will schedule, plan, forecast, resource, and manage technical activities aimed at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception through completion. Will use soft skills of strategic guidance, senior level leadership skills, customer interaction, a strong sense of urgency, and excellent team organizational skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Provide direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of specific hardware and software components and systems.
+ Support requirements elicitation; conduct requirements reviews; develop concepts of operation and interface standards; assists in performing systems management.
+ Prepare/write, technical documentation, Statements of work, Basis of Estimates and review billing information and all other Project Management tasks as assigned and reports on the same.
+ Work with senior engineers and managers to understand and document scope and identify responsibilities, timelines, delegating phases and elements to the appropriate stakeholders.
+ Direct engineering interface between organic teams, vendors, internal organizations as required.
+ Use standard methods and procedures to track and maintain work parameters, and host required meetings.
+ Ensure submission and tracking of associated documentation.
+ Assists to identify and address issues related to various support elements as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Highly developed oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to various audiences and to communicate effectively with senior managers, colleagues, and others.
+ 6+ years of experience a Project Manager in programs and contracts of similar scope and size are required.
+ Experience in a management role with an understanding of related processes and support elements.
+ Ability to handle complex customer situations and interact with all levels of personnel to provide quick and effective resolutions.
+ Managerial experience and knowledge of Project management, project engineering, or project planning experience identifying, documenting, and managing applicable parameters.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Six years of hands-on relevant experience related to program and project leadership and support.
+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
+ Active PMP® Certification and 8570 certifications
Clearance Requirements:
+ Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph

The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00-$155,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
