Description:Immediate need for a qualified Project Manager who can oversee assigned projects throughout their full lifecycle including developing the scope and technical sections of proposal and procurement documents to participating in contract negotiations and overseeing the delivery of the project plan to successfully accomplish our client’s performance. This position proactively manages the budget, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and client communications in support of the project’s objectives. The Senior Project Manager will coordinate with internal and external partners including cross-discipline and functional teams to address and problem solve design related issues or concerns.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for development of the project scope and fee quotation and assists in the preparation of technical proposals and contracts in accordance with contracting approach.
• Serves as the primary liaison and manages the project team to deliver the scope, schedule, and budgets to completion and to the client’s satisfaction. Assists with project scoping and contract negotiations.
• Performs technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects.
• Implements the firm’s project delivery plan on each project. Leads the development and the execution of the project management plan. Supervise and mentor team to overall project objectives.
• Partners with service leaders and others to assist with business development, building client relationships, and pursuit efforts for strategic and mini-mega projects. Works with the project team and marketing resources to prepare appropriate proposal and presentation materials.

Job Requirements:

• 10 + years of experience in relevant bridge design
• 2 + years of experience in task management or as a Deputy Project Manager
• Proven experience in management of bridge design projects for a variety of clients
• Excellent technical knowledge in multi-disciplined projects
• Good client relationship development skills
• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
PE License required (NY license)
