Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a Sr. Project Manager/Client Account Manager with a focus on NJ transportation clients, including NJDOT and NJ Counties.
In this role, you will be asked to manage a portfolio of projects and act as the Client Account Manager/Business Development Leader with responsibility to grow AECOM’s market share for that client.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Client Account Manager for major clients in NJ
- Join the Leadership team to develop and capture growth strategies and increase market share for key accounts
- Specialize in Transportation, with strong knowledge of sustainability planning, resiliency, and renewable energy
- Manage marketing and proposal preparation
- Manage team of professionals and contract deliverables with minimal guidance or supervision
- Interface with clients at meetings to discuss and coordinate the project progress
- Establish scope, work plan and work schedule
- Manage and lead the overall project including technical, financial, schedule, and client satisfaction
- Assure conformance with contractual obligations by ensuring that contract documents are reviewed and approved prior to release to the client
- Train, mentor and develop staff
- Anticipate potential budget and schedule impacts and initiates plans for alternative actions
- Incorporate Innovation in design and delivery
Minimum Requirements :
- BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 5 years of leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 years of experience
- Specialize in Transportation, with strong knowledge of sustainability planning, resiliency, and renewable energy
- Client Account Manager experience
- Willing to support other business lines: Environment, Energy, Architecture, Water
- Affiliated with professional organizations
