We are seeking an energetic self-motivatedSenior Project Managerto joinour financial services account team.
Theidealcandidateisexpected to manage multiple projects at one time in various phases of development and to meet or exceed established goals including speed to market, data quality & budget. The candidate’s primary focus will be on the specific needs of the project, client, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders but will also berequiredto support Team and Client initiatives for process improvement and personal career development. The selected candidate will alsobe requiredto track project financials and schedule status regularly. Project Management experience incommercial office/corporate campusandretailbanking is preferred but notrequired.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple high-profile construction projects for financial institutions, including security, decommission, engineering, major office space renovations and tenant improvement project types.
Develop andmaintaindetailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, budgets, and construction schedules todemonstrateaccountability for end-to-end management of projects.
Lead project teams consisting of architects, design engineers, general and specialty contractors, vendors, property management, operating engineers, real estate brokers, environmental consultants, client Project Management Organization, client security, and client technology to ensure project specifications are met.
Manage multiple projectsinvarious phases andat variouslocations, from projectinitiationthrough design, planning, client approval,permitissuance,constructionand financial closeout.
Provide weekly project activity updates forprojectschedule,budget, andrisk and provide activity updatesforthesame into Client’s Project Managementweb-basedtools.
Development risk management plans, and lead teams through established work authorization processestoensure no impacts or incidents within critical environments or equipment.
Apply top tier project management skills during client interactionstounderstandclient needs and develop project goals and scope of work.
Oversee and prepareaccurateproject documentation for all phases of construction including project charter, due diligence reports, budgets, schedules, meetingminutes, financial funding requests, status reports, punch lists, and special reports ontime andon budgetin accordance withpre-established formatstopass all project documentation reviews with client.
Manage vendors (GC, A&E, Security, signage,etc.) to ensure full compliance with all project policies and procedures, including the formal closeout of all projects in less than60 daysafter project completion.
Contribute to the development of project management best practices and methodologies within the organization.
Mentor junior project managers and team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree inArchitecture,ConstructionManagement, Civil Engineering, or a related field;master’sdegree preferred.
8+ years of construction project management experiencein all aspects of design and construction, with some experience managing projects in the financial services sector being a plus.
LEED Accreditation is aplus.
Requires strong basis of knowledge in project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management and contract negotiations.
Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, andweb-basedapplications
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonalskillswith the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively in achallenging environmentandoverseemultiple projects simultaneously.
Proventrack recordof successfully deliveringmedium tolargescale construction projects on time and within budget.
