Description:
Reports to the Principal and Associate Principal on a weekly basis.
Oversees and monitors the execution of Contract Documents through all phases of design, including progress of staff, coordination with consultants and clients.
Assists Project Architect/Designer in determining design requirements of each Project with the Client.
Coordinates the Project Schedule and Cost Estimates.
Monitors the adherence of the design to project schedules and estimate guidelines. Participates in or prepares the technical specifications for each project with the Director of Technical Services.
Assists with Quality Control/Quality Assurance of the Contract Documents.
Provides support to the Construction Administration Department and Project Architect during the construction of the project.
Required:
Bachelor or Masters of Architecture degree from an accredited college - Required
Architecture license in the State of NJ, LEED© accreditation preferred
Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a staff manager, with expertise in the design and production of small to larger scale architectural projects
Ability to effectively maintain records and files, and has superior organizational skills Technically proficient and possess an excellent understanding of construction means and methods
Possess exceptional client and interpersonal skills Must be a self-starter and highly motivated
Capable of managing all areas of a project, from the client to in-house staff, from pre-design through construction administration, on several projects simultaneously
Familiarity with Revit is preferred Proficiency in zoning and building codes
Education:
Bachelor of Architecture or
Masters of Architecture
Salary / Hourly:
$85,000 - $125,000
