JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Improvement
* Facilitate technology analysis and improvement for various teams.
* Assist groups in defining and understanding their current technology setup and future needs.
* Collaborate with IS technical resources to define technical criteria for selecting vendor solutions.
* Coordinate the vendor selection process, ensuring a structured evaluation.
* Acquire basic domain knowledge to identify and comprehend key project requirements and issues.
* Recruit expert resources to ensure advanced technology solutions are presented and evaluated.
Project Management
* Develop expertise in CCHMC's Information Systems (IS) project management processes.
* Create and manage project plans, timelines, and key activities.
* Maintain crucial project documentation such as issue lists, decision logs, build documentation, meeting minutes, agendas, and status reports.
* Facilitate cross-functional work teams, including internal staff, technical support, operations, vendors, clinicians, administration, and end users.
* Provide regular project updates and status reports to IS management.
* Escalate issues promptly to ensure timely resolution.
Mentorship
* Provide mentoring and guidance to other Implementation Coordinators.
* Help in designing and refining internal processes to improve team workflows.
* Coordinate internal Information Systems (IS) activities as required to ensure efficient operations.
Project Coordination
* Ensure key stakeholders, governance, and project teams are informed of project progress and issues.
* Manage multidisciplinary discussions to align technical and process concerns across different teams.
* Work closely with IS management to coordinate enterprise-wide communications related to the project.
* Carry out additional duties as needed to support project objectives.
Workflow Analysis and Improvement
* Facilitate workflow analysis to help teams identify areas for process improvement or redesign.
* Enable groups to define and understand their current workflows and future needs.
* Create clear diagrams illustrating current and future process flows.
* Coordinate with technical and application resources to ensure thorough analysis and synthesis of system changes.
* Guide teams through complex change management processes in a large academic healthcare setting, evaluating feasible and impactful options.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in a related field
* 5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
