About being our Senior Project Manager - Land Survey
As ourSenior Project Manager - Land Survey,you will support the Land Survey team's operation at a Senior Management level. You will manage resources for the office and field, have the opportunity to provide staff leadership, mentorship and guidance, manage a diverse portfolio of exciting projects throughout California, maintain QA/QC checks and balances of mapping quality, track budgets and schedules, and see projects to successful completion. You will manage staff and oversee a variety of projects including: Transportation Design, Right of Way Engineering and Mapping, design surveys, construction, ALTA Surveys, Topographic Mapping, Boundary Resolution, Records of Survey, Legal Description preparation and GPS Control Surveys.
Responsibility Highlights for our Senior Project Manager - Land Survey
- Provide leadership, project management, contract management, technical oversight, and strategic direction, while accomplishing the strategic marketing plan objectives and achieving performance and profitability targets
- Prepare scopes of work with associated fees and schedules, negotiate contracts including additional services, prepare presentations, proposals, respond to RFP's and RFQ's, and assist with recruiting, r tention, and leading of interviews
- Use your knowledge of land surveying/mapping to support the technical work of other surveyors, CAD drafters, and sub-consultants
- Lead multi-office pursuits and serve as Contract Manager for significant projects and programs
- Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth among team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging existing client relationships and developing new ones
- Ability to participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to enhance the company's visibility and attract potential clients
Minimum Qualifications to be our Senior Project Manager - Land Survey
- Licensed Land Surveyor in California
- 10+ years of progressively responsible Land Survey experience
- 5+ years' experience in Project Management
- Proficient in industry standard software and management tools
- Possess the desire and ability to develop and maintain industry client relationships in the Southern California market
- Familiarity with state and county mapping requirements
