Job Details
Summary of responsibilities:
- Identify and lead manufacturing projects from concept to commissioning.
- Manage engineering tasks (requirements, specifications, testing, RFPs) and financial responsibilities (budgeting, spending tracking).
- Oversee automation, processing equipment, and facility control systems projects.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.
- Lead key project phases: design, vendor selection, testing, commissioning, and validation.
- Support Proof of Concepts and develop use-cases.
- Author and review SOPs, training materials, and controlled documents.
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings and maintain project timelines; frequent travel required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 4-year Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5-7 years as an engineer in an industrial environment.
- Minimum of 5 years leading automation projects, including robotics, in industrial settings.
- Proven track record of completing various automation/robotics projects.
- Broad industry knowledge, including vendor contacts, methods, terminology, and both technical and non-technical expertise.
- Experience in project management, leading teams with full project ownership, including managing internal staff and external contractors.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work across all levels of an organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) and C.I.T.E. principles.
