Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Lead engineering teams on various projects, overseeing budget, scheduling, and quality performance to meet client objectives.
- Budget & Cost Control: Estimate and track project budgets, work with resource leaders to optimize service hours, and ensure accurate project costing.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong client relationships, facilitate prompt communication of scope changes, and manage client approvals.
- Project Controls: Use project control tools to monitor timelines, budgets, and quality metrics.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports, review documentation for quality and compliance, and coordinate project closeout.
- Team Leadership: Build and guide project teams, foster a productive team environment, and conduct weekly progress meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering preferred.
- PMP and/or Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
- 15+ years in project management with a focus on engineering in heavy industrial settings.
- Chemical Plant Experience.
- Manage Engineering Projects in a heavy industrial Settings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project controls tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle complex client relationships and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in a refinery setting is preferred.
- Ability to manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams is preferred.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory compliance in industrial project settings.
- Must be able working in the office 3-4 days a week.
