Senior Project Manager - Estrem & Co.

Job Summary:

As a Residential Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the planning, execution, and completion of custom residential construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards. Your expertise in project management and residential construction will be essential in delivering successful and high-quality housing developments.

Come work for a dynamic boutique-sized company that builds 10-12 Spec homes in Naples, Florida a year.  5 are starting now, and a Senior Project Manager who is familiar with the area is needed. 

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and goals.

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and lead project teams, including project managers, contractors, and subcontractors.

Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring clear communication and accountability.

Budget and Cost Control:

Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-control measures when necessary.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and maintain quality control standards throughout the construction process.

Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Risk Management:

Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation plans.

Ensure projects are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

Schedule Management:

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that milestones are met.

Communicate project progress to stakeholders and address schedule-related issues.

Communication and Reporting:

Provide regular updates to project stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and team members.

Prepare and present project reports, including progress, financial status, and issues.

Maintain open lines of communication to address concerns and feedback.

Documentation:

Ensure accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits.

Maintain organized project records for future reference and audits.

Qualifications:

Several years of experience in residential construction project management.

Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and industry best practices.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) may be advantageous.
