**Job Summary:**
The Senior Project Manager - Operations at the Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc. plays a crucial role in implementing board-approved initiatives and projects to achieve strategic goals. This position involves coordinating and organizing resources in disciplines such as Finance and Budget, Logistics, Human Resources, Security, Facilities, and Project Management. The Senior Project Manager must exhibit competency in various skills including adaptability, planning, communication, leadership, and decision-making.
**Responsibilities:**
- Maintain office efficiency by following established guidelines, evaluating effectiveness, and recommending changes as necessary.
- Analyze processes using performance improvement techniques to enhance workflow, quality, and customer service.
- Assist in Practice Management aspects of EMR including workflow development and staff training.
- Collaborate with Operations Management Team to prepare provider schedules and ensure appropriate coverage.
- Address patient issues related to customer service and assist with patient discharges as needed.
- Establish project management goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Lead project status meetings, provide updates to stakeholders, and maintain transparent communication throughout project lifecycle.
**Qualifications:**
- Associate degree in business administration, Health Administration, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in a medical practice or hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience in managing diverse workforces.
- Ability to multitask, address sensitive patient and personnel issues, and demonstrate computer literacy.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Health Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of leadership experience in a medical practice or hospital setting.
- Experience with eCW (electronic health record system).
