Qualifications
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid-level and junior engineering staff to ensure high quality deliverables that meet professional standards.
- Oversee all aspects of assigned projects including scope definition, budgeting, resource allocation, schedule adherence, and quality control to meet client requirements and company objectives.
- Manage engineers and subcontractors, providing direction and support to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with technical staff on proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates for new business opportunities.
- Determine appropriate staffing levels for projects in coordination with senior management.
- Prepare and distribute regular project status updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Follow internal quality assurance and control procedures.
- Utilize project management systems to track budgets, expenses, timelines, and engineer timecards.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in transportation engineering; and a minimum of 4 years of experience as a project manager
- Proven success in project management/delivery
- Colorado Experience a plus
LICENSES; CERTIFICATES; SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado; licensure in additional states may be required in the future
