The Linear Infrastructure Water Group is looking for a Senior Project Manager in one of our Northern or SouthernCalifornia offices! This position can be located in: Concord,Santa Rosa, Irvine, Long Beach, San Diego, CA. This is a project-focused role where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your technical expertise, local relationships, and knowledge on challenging projects
The position will consist of managing projects and staff and will also serve as the lead in the development and submission of proposals

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Serve as Senior Project Manager for the condition assessment, planning, rehabilitation, design, and construction of water, wastewater, and recycled water conveyance projectsDevelop new business opportunities and client relationships with municipal and utility agencies within your regionCommunicate regularly with the client, obtaining two-way feedback and inputCoordinate with Project Director, Business Group Leader, and Engineering Design Organization Leadership to assemble the project team and regularly review the projectDevelop a clear project description that defines the scope of work and deliver the project within budget and on time, and to program, in accordance with the work planBuild effective relationships with the GHD US West Water Market management team, North America and across GHD’s global footprintProvide guidance and QA/QC on all engineering design, calculations, design briefs and technical reports for municipal infrastructure, master plans, and detailed design projectsProvide hands-on technical guidance to engineers and technical staff in delivering ongoing municipal, water and wastewater projectsMentorship of project engineers and designers in the development of their engineering and design skillsThe ideal candidate would have the following experience/skills:Proven experience preparing complex engineering analysis and planningExperience in developing project scope, schedule, and budgetStrong technical writing skillsMust be able to work on multiple assignments simultaneously; and have strong organizational, problem solving, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsExpertise using Microsoft Excel and other relevant softwareClient management experienceExperience leading a team of engineers and technical staffExperience in project deliveryStrong verbal and written communication skillsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or similar); Masters Degree preferredRegistered Professional Engineer in the State of CaliforniaMinimum 15 years of civil engineering experience with a focus on design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projectsEEO Statement US: As a multicultural organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce
