Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all accounting functions related to the company's property portfolio
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Manage the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the accounting team
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA designation preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Property Accounting
- Strong proficiency in MRI, Sage Intacct, Nexus, and Domo
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
