What You’ll Do

A typical Senior Property Manager/Area Manager’s day might include:

• Coaching a new Property Manager on feedback conversations as they prepare for their team’s quarterly performance reviews.
• Conducting a due diligence inspection for an upcoming acquisition and compile findings into digestible reports for ownership groups.
• Collaborating with Development on new construction projects, providing a keen operational perspective.
• Reprioritizing the maintenance teams' day after a water leak was discovered.
• Brainstorming with the marketing team on fresh community marketing ideas. Such as showcasing “a day in the life” on TikTok.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

This role might be a fit for you if:

• You take ownership and understand the big picture. You find the small everyday win and find ways to do more with less.
• You are a natural communicator. You can make the complex and scary, simple. Like a family moving from Los Angeles to Des Moines. You are comfortable communicating on multiple channels such as phone, email, chat, Facebook etc.
• You are curious and driven. You like asking those questions that hit at the root of the problem and then follow up with more questions.
• You are flexible. You enjoy learning new things and rolling with changes. Your availability allows for a flexible work week, which includes some weekend coverage.
• You need to have at least two years' experience in a supervisory capacity managing multiple multifamily communities and have earned an industry designation, such as CAM or CAPS. Also, we would like to see a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
