Senior Python/Quartz Developer - AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Python/Quartz Developer for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid). You will be responsible for creating technical documentation and mentoring junior developers to enhance team capabilities.

 

Rate Range: $63/hour to $73/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Senior Python/Quartz Developer job responsibilities include:

• Utilize Object-Oriented Design patterns to create and enhance software solutions for the OTC and Exchange Traded Derivatives Intraday Risk and Clearing Certainty Platforms.

• Take the lead on designing, developing, and testing Risk applications tailored for the Cleared Derivatives Business.

• Work closely with business and credit risk partners, as well as other teams, to identify, understand, and resolve issues that arise during the development process.

• Maintain regular communication regarding project status, highlighting any potential issues to ensure transparency and timely resolutions.

• Document technical processes, designs, and application functionalities for future reference and team knowledge sharing.

• Provide guidance and support to junior developers, sharing best practices and facilitating their professional growth within the team.

• Leverage an N-Tier Component-Based Architecture in developing scalable and maintainable applications, ensuring optimal performance and usability.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Python development, specifically with Python 3.x. Quartz Stack - DAG, QzRT, QFS Deal Model.

• Proven experience with Pub/Sub and Queue Messaging Systems, with AMPS being preferred. Familiarity with IRS, CDS, Repos, and Futures/Options Products.

• Strong database skills, including proficiency in SQL and Oracle, with a focus on table design experience. MongoDB - NoSql, JSON, design patterns.

Pay Details: $63.00 to $73.00 per hour
