ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN is seeking a Senior QA Automation Leader to take charge of our client's QA strategy, with a primary focus on building an automation framework from the ground up using Tosca. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and scalability of our client's platform, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless experience for our client's users. Currently there are 1400 manual tests, and you will be building the automation framework and scripts from scratch. You will be coding/hands-on in this role. In addition to building and implementing the Automation Framework from scratch, this role will also need to “hold the line with developers,”will need to set standards for Unit Tests, as well as software code quality through code reviews.

- Automation Framework Development: Design and implement a robust and scalable test automation framework from scratch using Tricentis Tosca.
- QA Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, driving the adoption of automation practices and ensuring high-quality test coverage across the product.
- Collaboration: Partner with product management, development, and operations teams to define test strategies that integrate Tosca into overall testing efforts, ensuring automated tests align with product goals.
- Comprehensive Testing: Oversee the full testing lifecycle, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing, with a strong focus on automation.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously evolve and optimize the Tosca-based automation framework, ensuring it meets the needs of an evolving platform and driving improvements in testing efficiency.
- CI/CD Integration: Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure that automated tests are seamlessly integrated into our software delivery process.
- Quality Metrics: Track and report on key quality indicators, including defect rates, test coverage, and release readiness, using automation to ensure consistent, measurable results.
7+ years in the following skill sets...
- Software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in automation leadership roles, focusing on building frameworks from scratch.
- Automation Expertise: Hands-on experience designing and building test automation frameworks using Tosca highly desired, but not required. Candidates must have experience building + implementing automation frameworks from scratch.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with experience managing QA teams and driving quality initiatives across cross-functional teams.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages (e.G., JavaScript, Python) and experience with version control systems like GitLab.
- CI/CD: Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, and their integration with automation frameworks.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to design comprehensive test strategies for complex systems.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across teams.
- Agile: Experience working in Agile environments with a solid understanding of Scrum principles.

- Test Automation Tools - Tosca
- Prior experience testing financial and billing systems.
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.
- Knowledge of security testing best practices.
