# Project Overview:
Driftwood LNG LLC is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project includes a mid-scale, mixed-refrigerant Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on the west side of the Calcasieu River. There are five identical process plants. Each process plant consists of one gas pre-treatment unit, one condensate stabilization unit, and four Chart heavy hydrocarbon (HHC) removal and liquefaction groups. The facility will include associated utilities, refrigerant storage, three 235,000m3 full-containment LNG storage tanks, and three marine berths.
# Job Summary:
In this role, you will lead implementation and monitoring of a project quality program and provide technical direction to peers. You will define and implement system tools and procedures, develop metrics and goals, facilitate causal analysis teams, and provide oversight of design validation and final inspection activities. You will ensure quality in high impact activities that are key to project success. #LI-TH1
_This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership_
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Support the implementation of the Quality Management Plan (QMP) and communicate with project personnel across engineering, procurement, construction, administrative services, testing, operations, and decommissioning to ensure management goals are met.
+ Coordinate the preparation and establishment of the quality program/plans for the project.
+ Train quality personnel assigned to the project.
+ Oversee and participate in project auditing and monitoring to verify the effectiveness of the quality program/plan.
+ Recommend actions to address observed quality deficiencies.
+ Maintain client liaison and communication for project quality-related activities as needed.
+ Represent the project during quality assurance audits conducted by clients, management, or regulatory agencies.
+ Review project schedules for quality-related activities to ensure timely implementation of the quality plan requirements.
+ Identify quality problems, initiate documented actions, verify solutions, and manage the corrective action system.
+ Incorporate applicable quality system requirements for suppliers and subcontractors.
+ Support the development and implementation of the Project Quality Audit & Surveillance Schedule.
+ Manage and perform internal and external quality audits/surveillances and follow up on the closure of findings.
+ Review and approve subcontractors and suppliers’ responses to deficiencies identified through audits and surveillance activities.
+ Utilize DevonWay or similar systems for Closed Loop Corrective Action (CLCA) and process Condition Reports and Recommendations for audits and surveillances.
+ Verify the implementation of Best Practices and Lessons Learned, including collection, evaluation, and documentation into DevonWay.
+ Prequalify subcontractors and suppliers, evaluating their quality system capabilities and controls.
+ Review subcontractors’ and suppliers’ submittals, including quality manuals, procedures, Quality Plans, ITPs, resumes, test reports, and audit schedules.
+ Conduct Project QMS orientation and awareness sessions as applicable.
+ Provide training and guidance to supplier quality and other quality personnel as required.
+ Develop and implement project-specific metrics as needed.
+ Analyze the effectiveness of established quality surveillance systems and techniques.
+ Lead and facilitate Project Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify, document, implement, and verify corrective measures for issues impacting quality and preventing recurrence.
+ Report weekly/monthly progress to the Project Quality Manager.
# Education and Experience Requirements:
A recognized degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, or specialized courses in engineering, quality, and practical work experience in fields of engineering, environmental science, procurement, construction, testing, operations, decommissioning, or business administration.
# Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Technical knowledge in the application of engineering, environmental science, procurement, construction, testing, operations, or decommissioning practices sufficient to comprehend specified engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, testing, operations, decommissioning, and regulatory requirements.
+ Knowledge of the application of corrective actions to reconcile nonconforming conditions.
+ Knowledge of regulatory requirements and functions which impact the quality program/plan.
+ Proficiency in oral and written communications.
+ Proficiency in providing direction and on the job training to assigned personnel.
+ Proficiency in the use of applicable computer programs.
+ ISO 9001: 2015 Certified Lead Auditor (IRCA approved) (required).
+ Applicable certification in Quality, e.g., Six Sigma (Green/ Black Belt), Lean skills, Certified Quality Manager (CQM) (advantage)
+ Demonstrated experience with design controls, design verification and validation activities, process controls, supply chain, construction, start-up activities, and risk management.
+ Strong analytic skills with practical knowledge of how to identify key performance quality metrics to set targets for maintaining a state of compliance while identifying areas for improvement.
