We are seeking Radio Frequency Test Technicians who are looking to work in an indoor Team Manufacturing environment. Qualified candidates will tune, test, troubleshoot and repair product using discrete and automated test equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting down to the component level using schematics and discrete test equipment
- Regular and predictable attendance required
- Perform manual testing using DMM, RF power meter, oscilloscope, frequency generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.
- Operate automated test stations and evaluate product performance
- Evaluate unit performance to established specifications
- Provide technical status of product performance, evaluate automated test results, troubleshooting test equipment and test stations
- Mechanical assembly- minor disassembly of product during troubleshooting process
- Other duties may be assigned
Desired Skills
- Previous experience in precision soldering
- Microstrip stub tuning
Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Work within established safety and quality standards
- Associates Degree in Electronic, Technical School, Associated Military Equivalent, or previous work experience
- Read and comprehend schematic drawings, Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Test Procedures, and rework documents
- Basic math skill and computer skills to include MSWord and Excel
- Good knowledge of RF Microwave Technology
- Willingness to work outside normal working hours
- Operational Knowledge of Manufacturing/Workmanship Standards and their Understanding
- Good Decision Making & Problem Solving, Teamwork and Communications skills
Shift: Day Shift -- approximately 6:00am - 3:00pm
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required.
