We seek a talent to provide global regulatory strategy for our Global Nutrition product development and Business sustaining Team.

The Nutrition Regulatory Affairs team functions as a progressive global group that ensures product compliance and safety in every step of the product lifecycle.  This group delivers scientifically sound regulatory strategies, which provide our Amway Business Owners (ABO’s) confidence, that they are selling a superior product. On this team you will provide counsel to cross functional teams on ingredient acceptability, formulation design, product labeling, claims and registration requirements.  

Working with our global team, we also monitor and interpret the impact of current, pending, and future regulations to ensure the Nutrition portfolio maintains compliance. What’s special about this role: 

In this role, you will lead the regulatory activities of product design, ensuring successful regulatory pathways for Amway nutrition products sold in over 80 countries and territories around the globe. By partnering with key stakeholders both in our corporate environment, and around the world, you will guide nutrition product development teams offering regulatory compliant solutions for product design challenges. Without you, we would be unable to create new nutritional products for our customers.  

You will lead concept/category reviews, label and claims development, international claims support and investigation of products, raw materials, ingredients, formulas and packaging for regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will commonly work with global teams, collaborating with regulatory partners both inside Amway and in the industry. You will leadregulatory strategies in a dynamic product development setting, providing product access around the globe. Required qualifications: 

• BS degree in Food, Regulatory Science, or a related sciences discipline (MS degree preferred) 
• Minimum experience will be 8 years with BS degree or 5 years with MS degree in Regulatory, Health/Nutrition, or related function, with use of analytical and scientific databases 
• Knowledge of global food/nutrition regulations, communicating and interpreting regulatory challenges 
• Experience leading cross functional global project teams successfully through risk management scenarios 
• BS degree in Food, Regulatory Science, or a related sciences discipline (MS degree preferred) 

Skills to be successful in the role: 

• A solution-oriented mindset, providing strategic regulatory recommendations for improvements. 
• Strong collaboration skills with talent to communicate across cultures, influencing stakeholders. 
• RAPS certification desirable, or experience with food/nutrition laws and/or requirements
