Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time Senior Requirements Manager for a federal construction project related to complex rail, transit, and other transportation projects in NY & NJ.
The ideal candidate has 10 years of full-time experience in managing the systems development process and requirements management in a construction setting as well as a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
This position will be full-time, hybrid. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New York metropolitan area.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the client project requirements database via Power Pro; including access, configuration, and client details.
- Update and improve client requirements management processes as needed.
- Track changes to contract artifacts through change order process.
- Process quarterly contractor database submissions, including imports, quality checks, and exports.
- Analyze quarterly submissions to report KPIs and relevant metrics.
- Conduct requirements analysis to assess needs and risks.
- Ensure PDA Agreement is meeting obligations.
- Review and verify Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), including scope and instructions for requirement owners.
- Report weekly on comment progress metrics to management.
- Review and provide crucial input on Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL) related to systems engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field required; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with large-scale engineering/construction projects.
- Experience with projects related to complex rail, transit, and other transportation projects in NY & NJ.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Power Pro or related software required.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
