Client Overview:
Our client is a global pharmaceutical leader in providing research and innovation to drive the future of medical treatments
They are expanding their team and looking to bring on a Senior Research Associate.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$35/hr – $40/hr
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Research Associate to support multiple projects related to creating and evaluating in vitro models and assays
This Senior Research Associate role will be onsite 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, dayshift.
Responsibilities of the Senior Research Associate:
The Senior Research Associate will work with current scientific staff to conduct lab-based studies and perform tissue culture work with human cell lines.
Develop and optimize workflows for cell model creation and quality control.
Foster cross-functional teamwork in support of project management efforts.
Proactively provide guidance for data and reference materials and recommend alternatives when necessary.
The Senior Research Associate will work with human cell lines and recombinant DNA.
Qualifications for the Senior Research Associate:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biotechnology/CRO company.
Experience working in molecular biology.
The Senior Research Associate must have prior experience working with human cell lines.
Strong aseptic technique and experience in BSL2 labs is highly desired.
Must be comfortable working in a lab environment including hazardous chemicals and blood-borne pathogens.
Familiar with automated laboratory equipment is highly desired.
Must understand the US Pharmaceutical industry and GMP/GLP regulations.
Strong communication skills to talk to internal and external teams.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Biology, Biological Science, Genetics, Biochemistry, or other related majors is required.
Master degrees will also be considered.
