Salary: $134K to $183K

Required Qualifications

• Education: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.

• Experience:

  • Strong computer hardware design experience (Verilog/System Verilog/VHDL).

  • Experience with FPGA or ASIC development.

  • Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar programming languages.

• Clearance: Eligible to apply for a Top Secret clearance; current SECRET clearance is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Architectures: Create advanced computer architectures for applied research programs (DARPA, IARPA, CHIPS Act).

• Prototype Solutions: Design and conduct laboratory experiments for hardware solutions.

• Collaboration: Work with the Application-Specific Intelligent Computing Lab and engage with the MOSIS 2.0 service.

• Publish Research: Contribute to proposals for government-funded projects and publish research results.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of graph-based or other EDA algorithms.

• Familiarity with design verification and device testing.

• Proficiency with EDA tools and scripting.
