Responsibilities
- Perform facility related revenue accounting activities within prescribed time schedules and guidelines
- Perform and summarize revenue and accounts receivable variance analysis
- Field and assess ad-hoc requests, producing clear and concise reports for stakeholders
- Leverage subject matter expertise to provide guidance and instruction to key stakeholdersthrough development, implementation, and maintenance of operational reports and dashboards
- Mentor revenue analyst(s), developing knowledge base within the team and serving as a revenue specialist in the identification and resolution of facility related and/or enterprise revenue accounting issues and questions
- Assist management with the design and operation of revenue controls
- Partner with key stakeholders to meet strategic company objectives
- Assess, develop, and document solutions to complex problems by applying acute business knowledge, skills, and experience
- Summarize and communicate proposed solutions with the appropriate audiences in a manner tailored to their understanding, level, or experience
- Leverage process and international teams to drive quality and scalability within Revenue Integrity
Qualifications
- BS in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting required
- 5+ years of experience in corporate accounting or finance required; healthcare experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite
- PeopleSoft and Tableau experience preferred
- Working knowledge of patient accounting systems and revenue cycle processes preferred
