Position Summary:
The Sr. Risk Analyst (Pricing & Profitability) will be responsible for utilizing advanced business intelligence, analytical techniques, and reporting tools, to control and mitigate risks while facilitating growth.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze pricing strategies identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
- Develop and maintain pricing models to support pricing decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement pricing strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate pricing performance to make recommendations for improvement.
- Design the data structures and processes from different types of data for various analytical or data projects.
- Design or enhance the process of standardized report production that summarize or provide updates on activities in various business areas.
- Conduct in-depth analyses to provide data insights into business issues and help the specification of appropriate policy or strategic solutions.
- Review population/performance/operation efficiency tracking or monitoring results to identify early warning signs, positive improvements, or meaningful patterns which will lead to further design of new policies or strategies.
- Develop analytical result-driven policy or strategic solutions in various business areas as needed.
- Oversee the implementation of new policies/solutions/strategies in various systems.
- Oversee the audit or quality assurance on system/data structure related to policy or strategy changes.
- Maintain confidentiality of personal information for consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers, and dates of birth.
- Performs other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience using data analytics as well as commensurate industry experience in the financial sector.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or other quantitative fields.
- OR Master’s degree in above fields with 3 years of industry experience in the financial sector using data analytics.
Skills Required:
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with mathematical, financial, and accounting concepts often found in cash flow analysis and financial forecasting.
- Comprehensive experience with SQL, Excel, and Tableau or other business intelligence software.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Experience – 3+ years of experience in Auto Finance. 3+ years of experience in pricing, developing profitability models, and/or financial forecasts.\
Travel 0-10% - is required.
Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to: Dallas, TX.
