Senior RPA Developer – Microsoft Power Platform
Grant Leading Technology is seeking a candidate for Senior RPA Developer – Microsoft Power Platform to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting our FAA Strategic Support Services contract. This position will be remote, and the hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm EST.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and document business process automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of automation projects within clients’ RPA portfolios, ensuring timely completion of milestones and strategic prioritization.
- Develop wireframes, videos, and other communication materials to effectively convey the scope and impact of current and proposed business process innovations, utilizing Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Define the scope of business process automation projects, including comprehensive documentation of current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") processes.
- Lead discovery sessions with executive leadership to identify, evaluate, and implement innovative business process automation solutions.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to develop strategic automation solutions, with a focus on shared services environments.
- Design and implement scalable business process automation plans, ensuring seamless integration with Power Platform technologies like Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Provide subject matter expertise in user experience design, usability, accessibility, and compliance, especially in the context of Power Platform applications.
- Conduct current state assessments and develop customer-oriented process documentation, identifying pain points and opportunities for automation within an Intelligent Automation Registry.
- Build, test, and deploy automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform to support high-priority business processes and organizational goals.
- Develop training materials and support stakeholder adoption of new tools and technologies through job aids and change management initiatives, with a focus on Power Platform technologies.
- Lead and facilitate RPA progress meetings with clients, ensuring alignment on goals and milestones.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Business Process Automation.
- Three to five (3-5) years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Power BI, and Dataverse.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of driving process improvements.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and delegate responsibilities when appropriate. Must be a U.S. resident, authorized to work in the United States, with the ability to pass public trust clearance.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, Data Analysis, or a related field.
- Power Automate Certification(s) or other relevant Microsoft certifications.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet for project management and process tracking.
- Experience with Human Resources processes, particularly in automating HR functions.
- Federal government experience, particularly within agencies utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform, is a plus.
